Product Overview
This pressure-balancing shower cartridge is an internal replacement component used in designated PASGO shower valve systems. It is intended for after-sales service and replacement only and is not sold as a universal standalone cartridge.
PASGO currently uses two different pressure-balancing cartridge versions for different shower faucet series. Although both cartridges perform the same primary pressure-balancing and temperature-control functions, they are designed for different valve bodies and are not interchangeable.
The cartridge controls the mixing of hot and cold water while helping maintain balanced water pressure during shower operation. If water pressure changes elsewhere in the home, the pressure-balancing mechanism responds automatically to help reduce sudden fluctuations in shower water temperature.
Both cartridge versions are independently cUPC certified and have been tested for 500,000+ operating cycles for dependable long-term performance.

Important: Version A and Version B are designed for different shower valve bodies and cannot be used interchangeably.

When This Part May Need Replacement
A replacement cartridge may be required if a compatible PASGO shower valve develops symptoms such as:
- Difficulty adjusting water temperature
- Unstable hot and cold water control
- Handle movement becoming unusually stiff
- Water continuing to drip or flow when the valve is turned off
- Reduced or inconsistent pressure-balancing performance
These symptoms do not always mean that the cartridge itself is defective. Installation conditions, water supply pressure, debris, mineral buildup or other shower valve components may also affect performance.

This is not a universal replacement cartridge.
PASGO uses different pressure-balancing cartridges depending on the shower faucet series and valve-body configuration.
Do not select a replacement cartridge based on appearance alone.
